Come Listen to a Prophet's Voice

A couple of weeks ago was General Conference, a semiannual conference that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints holds every April and October. It is held in Salt Lake City, but is broadcast all over the world in dozens of languages, and is a chance for church leadership to address the church membership as a whole. The messages given are always beautiful and leave me feeling hopeful for the future and closer to my Heavenly Father. Spencer's youngest sister had never had the chance to attend General Conference in person, with living on the other side of the world for the last 5 years and all, so we wanted to make sure she made it up there this year. Plus I love watching in person at the Conference Center, if for no other reason than THE MUSIC. The choirs are always so amazing, and watching it on tv just doesn't capture the beauty and power of hearing music live. And it's so nice that we can drive there in less than an hour, so we were able to attend both sessions on Saturday.
